Galena Territory
[ ]Galena Borders
[image]
On the north side of Thunder Mountain lies the Galena Pack borders. This is the primary place where loners seek acceptance into the pack. The golden hues of the oak trees give this area a never-ending summer glow, which is very attractive. The forestry spreads for miles, and there are many places left to be explored that have never been touched. These borderlines are not frequently guarded, but they are noticably marked.

[ ]Aspen Forest
[image]
Directly below the base of Thunder Mountain lies the lush Aspen Forest. The beauty of the trees attracts al kinds of attention, especially herbivores. This is a wolf's paradise, and as so the den site is located in the thicket. There are small hills and rolls of the land, in which fallen trees create bridges to get across. Through the middle of a low-lying area is a small creek, the perfect place to raise young.
00
[ ]Sunrise Lake
[image]
Sister to the Sunset Lake, Sunrise Lake is the largest lake in all of Malin Mountain lands. When the sun rises above the water's surface, it's as if the stars are dancing on the ripples, giving a sense that the heavens are closer than ever. The water is very fresh and clean, meaning it's very healthy and refreshing to drink. Some say that the water tastes best when the sun rises. A wolf could also find a few freshwater fish. The rim of the whole lake is covered with small smooth rocks, but in some places, such as near the mouth of the river that dumps the water into the lake, lies huge rocks that point in many directions. If you wish to drink, be careful not to slip in.

[ ]Runaway Valley
[image]
Runaway Valley is halfly covered with the Aspen Forest, but the other half is flat grassland with a few trees growing here and there. This is the perfect place to hunt large game, where as the largest herd of caribou migrate across this valley to reach their summer breeding grounds, so the Galena wolves have claimed this area to be their main hunting grounds. But be careful, grizzly bears and cougars also hunt in this area.

Unclaimed Territory
[ ]Placent Meadow
[image]
Wide open space to run freely or a place to bring the thrill of the chase, Placent Meadow lives up to its name. This area is peacful, which means nothing as vile as war or death, other than prey being slaughtered, has ever brought down this pleasureable spot. A wolf can find any source of prey here, as well as pleaces to explore.
00
[ ]Thunder Valley
[image]
This is an enclosed area to the side of both pack territories. It is filled with wildlife and plenty of room to run. The grass here never reachs over 5 inches since the largest migration of elk travel through the valley to reach their summer breeding grounds. This area got its name from the thunderous rumbles of the thousands of herding animals. Be careful during the winter months, that's when the migration begins and wolves can get trampled.

[ ]Thunder Mountain
[image]
The largest, and only, mountain of all the land is Thunder Mountain. This mountain is covered with splotches of forestry, barren rocky surfaces, and flat areas that can fit a wolf's liking. The Salmon-Run River originates from the summit that peaks at over 500,000 feet. At the mid-section of the mountain, where there is an odd flat area with an overhanging cliff, a secret cave that not many wolves know about. If you happen to find it, it's best to keep it secret.

[ ]Salmon-Run River
[image]
This calm river flows down Thunder Mountain into the two main lakes, Sunrise Lake and Sunset Lake.. The water here; however, has shrunk shallow and narrow. Fish are commonly found in the river's calmer areas. The river received the name form the various salmon that migrate from the lakes to lay their eggs. Salmon-Run River can serve as a source of food, so long as you don't slip.

[ ]Nukpana Plains
[image]
Down in a low-lying valley from Thunder Mountain lies the Nukpana Plains. This is a wide open area with plenty of room to let loose and feel the wind. The grass here grows higher than anywhere else and maintains a constant color of golden-brown year 'round. Tons of prey items thrive here, as well as some predators. Be on the lookout for danger, for it may be the last time you see the day.

Selway Territory
[ ]Selway Borders
[image]
With a warm glow to comfort the soul, or a ghostly mist to send shivers down the spine, the Selway Borders iscolate the Thunder Mountain on the southern side. This mysterious borderline emitts intimidation to any wondering wolves, so most don't roam too far deep into the dense forest in fear of getting lost, or possibly killed. These borders are frequently marked and highly monitored, so be aware of the consiquences if you wonder past the markers.

[ ]Golden Forest
[image]
Attatched to the Selway Pack borders is the Golden Forest. Like it's neighbor, the Golden Forest is always giving off a warm golden glow. In some parts there are areas of fallen trees, making piles that one could climb and cross ditches of the tumbling hills. In one long ditch there may be rainwater that hasn't dried out. This is a great spot to explore and relax. If one were to travel deep into the forest, a wolf would find the den site of the Selway wolves.

[ ]Sunset Lake
[image]
Sister to the Sunrise Lake, Sunset Lake is the smallest lake in all of Malin Mountain lands. Because of its small size, the water doesn't compare to the pure taste and refreshing feeling that the Sunrise Lake contains, but it's second best. Some wolves say that the water tastes best when the sun sets. A wolf could also find a few freshwater fish. The rim of this lake is covered with soft sand, which is also a cause to why the water is less pure than Sunrise Lake.

[ ]Wildflower Glen
[image]
Isn't this place just gorgeous? All kinds of wildflowers grow here, almost year 'round. This is the Selway Pack's hunting grounds; and the perfect place to find a mate during mating season. Medium sized game, such as deer, sheep, and goat, roam freely as if they're just waiting to be taken down. Wildflower Glen may also serve as a puppy playground when puppies are ready to explore the world outside the den.
